OSRBA 2010 YOUTH ACHIEVEMENT CONTEST
PURPOSE
To acknowledge outstanding achievement and leadership by OSRBA youth members in the rabbit and/or cavy industry, as measured by activities and leadership in organizations and associations, performance at the show table, achievements in breeding and raising animals and the vision and goals set for themselves and their project and to prepare Ohio Youth for the ARBA National Convention.
RULES
1. Any OSRBA youth member is eligible to compete. Attendance at the OSRBA Convention is not necessary
2. Application must be made using the form provided by the OSRBA Youth director. This form is available on the OSRBA website at osrbayouth.net.
3. The age divisions will be as follows: 11years of age and under, 12-14 years of age, 15-18 years of age. Age is determined by the contestant's age on the closing day of the OSRBA convention for that year.
4. Winners will be selected in each age division.
5. Applications are to be composed and completed by the contestant.
6. Up to five pages, printed on one side only, of information may be submitted by the applicant. There will be 30 points deducted for exceeding this maximum or for submitting a form that is not filled out correctly or that is incomplete. Include information needed to complete the answers. Visual aids may be included within this page limitation.
7. Winners will be announced Sunday morning May 2nd at the OSRBA Convention. Contestants need not be present to win.
9. Send your original Achievement Application Direction Form and THREE copies of your answers! There will be 20 points deducted for not following this rule.
Applications must be postmarked by April 1, 2010. Forms received after the deadline will have 20 points deducted. Forms postmarked after April 10, 2009 will be returned.
