2009 Pen Pals® Rabbit Youth Scholarship

 

Scholarship amount - $250.00

Awarded for one year and must be used within one year from award of the scholarship.

Recipients may reapply for subsequent years.
Applicants will be evaluated based on involvement in the rabbit industry, academic record, activities, community involvement, completion of scholarship application, and submission of a short essay.
Scholarship will be paid to the recipient upon confirmation of college enrollment.
Winner will be publicly announced at the OSRBA (Ohio State Rabbit Breeders Association) State Rabbit Show Banquet in May, 2009.
 
 

Eligibility Requirements*:

·     High school senior or full-time student at accredited four-year college/university or junior college (no older than 21 years of age)

·     Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

·     Submission of official current high school or college transcript

·     Applicant must have fed Pen Pals Rabbit Food for at least previous 12 months (application requires signature of ADM Alliance Nutrition dealer or sales representative)

·     Applicant must be active member of Ohio State Rabbit Breeders Assoc.(OSRBA)

·     Applicant must be actively involved in showing rabbits

·     Application must be completed and all associated forms submitted prior to April 1, 2009

* Individuals of immediate family of ADM Alliance Nutrition employees are ineligible to compete.

 
 

Completed application, official high school/college transcript, and short essay must be received by April 1, 2009.  Submit all required forms and information to:
